Adella Marie Westbrook, age 95, of Mt. Pleasant, passed away on Friday, May 19, 2017 at the Prestige Centre in Mt. Pleasant.  Adella was born on March 29, 1922 in Rosebush, Michigan the daughter of Clarence and Carrie Johnson Miller.

     On November 22, 1942, Adella married Jack W. Westbrook in Rosebush.  Jack preceded her in death in 1995.  Adella was an administrator at Isabella County Medical Care Facility and was also employed at CMU.  She was a member of the Rosebush United Methodist Church, the Top’s Club, the Red Hatters, and was a travel guide for Mid Michigan Colleges Travel Club.  Adella loved her family along with cooking, gardening, sewing, quilting, and traveling.

     Adella is survived by her two daughters, Nancy Westbrook of Mt. Pleasant and Jillene and Wallace Robison of Weidman; two grandchildren, Cody and Corey Robison; and three sisters in law, Freda Mullins, Patricia Bonnell, and Gwendolyn Blesch.  She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, and 6 brothers and sisters.

     Funeral services for Adella will be held on Tuesday, May 23 at 11:00 AM from the Rowley Funeral Home in Mt. Pleasant.  Chris McNeilly of Great Lakes Hospice and Barry Loper will be officiating.  The family will greet friends on Tuesday morning from 10 am until the time of the services.  Interment will be in Memorial Gardens after the service.  Memorial contributions are suggested to the Rosebush United Methodist Church or to Great Lakes Caring Hospice.  Envelopes are available at the funeral home.
